Superior North EMS has 17 stations in the District.

Three stations in the City of Thunder Bay are staffed 24 hours 365 days per week.  Paramedics in the City usually work 12 hour, rotating shifts.

All District Stations have some combination of "on-site" and "on-call" staffing, most often divided by 12 hours each day, 365 days per year.  Accordingly, District paramedics work either 4 or 7 consecutive days.  Paramedics stationed in Nipigon / Red Rock and Terrace Bay / Schreiber alternate the "on-all" portion of their shift so that one paramedic team is available in the off-hours for both communities.  Paramedics in Geraldton work one of two 10 hour "on-call" shifts, with the remaining 4 hours covered "off-site" by the evening shift.
