Ambulance Accident
SUPERIOR NORTH EMS AMBULANCE INVOLVED IN ACCIDENT WHILE RESPONDING TO LIFE THREATENING CALLNovember 9, 2005 -A Superior North EMS ambulance has been involved in a motor vehicle collision while responding to a life threatening call. The paramedic driving the ambulance had the vehicle's lights and sirens activated at the time of the accident.
The collision occurred at approximately 7 pm on Tuesday evening, 8 Nov 05, at the intersection of May St and Northern Ave. The collision resulted in extensive damage to both vehicles.
The two occupants of the civilian vehicle were not injured in the collision. One of the two paramedics in the ambulance suffered a minor injury.
