  • The United Way fund-raising effort is driven by close to 1,000 volunteers.
  • The ‘Community Fund’ brings together the people and resources necessary to create lasting change and to help: children as they grow, youth to build a positive future, adults seeking independence, individuals with disabilities or health concerns, families coping with a crisis or hard times, neighbourhoods to become stronger and more caring.
  • One in three families are assisted each year through programs and services funded by donations to the United Way. United Way helps your family, your neighbours, and your co-workers.
  • The United Way is working collaboratively with other funders and local organizations in order bring community resources together and to facilitate opportunities for youth, and for neighbourhood engagement.
  • Over 280 United Way employee campaigns are conducted, raising over half of the overall campaign dollars.
